The weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council has begun in the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo presiding.
Prof. Osinbajo is presiding over the meeting in the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari, who is on a state visit to Portugal at the invitation of President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha; and the Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, are at the meeting.
The ministers at the meeting are those of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola; Justice, Abubakar Malami; Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed; Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige; and Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami.
Other ministers at the meeting are those of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mohammad Abubakar; Environment, Mohammed Abdullahi; and Health, Osagie Ehanire.
Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Clem Agba; and the Minister of State for Health, Adeleke Mamora are also at the meeting.
