Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Lafia, the Nasarawa State Capital on an official visit.
The chopper conveying hon touched down at the helipad of Government House Lafiya at 11:14 GMT.
The Vice President was received by Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule and the former Governor of the State, Abdullahi Adamu.
Shortly after arriving, he proceeded to the palace of the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Babe Mohammed to pay homage to the monarch.
He will later flag off the distribution of palliatives and empowerment tools to some state citizens, which the Nasarawa State Human Capital Development Agency organised.
