VP Shettima Flags Off Distribution Of N15B Palliatives In Northeast

Nigeria’s Vice President Kashim Shettima has flagged off distribution of food and non food items worth 15 billion naira donated by the North East Development Commission, NEDC.

During the unveiling of the relief materials at Government House Maiduguri on Saturday, Shettima highlighted the staggering damages caused by Boko Haram in the North-East.

During his visit to Maiduguri since Friday, the vice president “commissioned several people-centric projects, including large-scale schools, clinics, and other social infrastructure initiatives” that were implemented by Governor Babagana Zulum. This marked his 100-day milestone of his second term in office.

Additionally, the Vice President inaugurated road projects, executed by the NEDC, that spanned across Ngowom-Koshobe-Zabarmari-Gongulong-Kaddamari and other farming communities.
