First Electric Car Assembled In Nigeria
It would be recalled that in 2021 former Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo unveiled the first electric car assembled in Nigeria at the Made-in-Nigeria fair which was held at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
Osinbajo described the development as “Fantastic”, adding that the making of the innovative car, Kona, was a showcase of what Nigeria could do.
“It was a very good drive. Fantastic! It just shows what is possible. I am glad to see that this is an assembled-in-Nigeria electric car. You can literally charge it anywhere.”
