VP Shettima to Open Kano International Trade Fair Nov. 23

Nigeria’s Vice President Kashim Shetima is expected to Declare open, the 45th Kano International Trade Fair expected to hold from 23rd November to December 7th 2024.

The President, Kano Chambers of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture KACCIMA, Garba Imam disclosed this in Kano state North West Nigeria, while briefing Journalists on the preparation.

He said the two weeks event with the theme: “Non oil export for economic prosperity,” is expected to host not less than 300 participants with Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to be the Chief host.

According to Imam, there will be a trade fair lecture on the same topic to highlight the relevance of harnessing the non oil sector.

“The Promotion of non oil sector is key to building economy of Nigeria.”

He announced free entrance into the venue of the Trade fair complex to allow maximum participation.

“This council introduces free gate for visitors because the chamber has paid and want many people to participate.”

Imam also announced free internet service within the premises to complement ease of doing business

On security, the KACCIMA President said, a very good arrangement has been made by the management, learning from last year’s experience pointing out that, the management is determined to record zero incidence this year.

“We have about 80 security personnel that are coming and the CCTV camera’s that we installed last year has significantly help and we have improve the number this year.”
