The Catholic Bishops in the West African Region have urged Christian politicians, traditional rulers, technocrats, media, businessmen and women, and other professionals to sustain the fight against corruption, ethnocentric, sectionalism, and all forms of injustice in society.

The Bishops made the call on Sunday at the end of the Fourth General Assembly of the Reunion of Episcopal Conference of West Africa, RECOWA in Abuja, Nigeria’s Capital.

The New President of RECOWA, Bishop Alexis Youluo of the Diocese of Agboville in Cote D’ Ivoire, has condemned the policies and practices of governments and leaders who facilitate and permit the exploitation and marginalization of the people and endanger the future of the children in the region.
