WFWPI honours Patience Jonathan with Peace Ambassador Award

Nigeria’s former First Lady, Patience Jonathan, has been honoured with the Global Women Peace Ambassador Award by the Women’s Federation for World Peace International (WFWPI).

The message was conveyed through the former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan’s special Adviser and Head of Media and Communication, Mr. Ikechukwu Eze, that the award was done at a ceremony in Seoul, South Korea.

According to Mr. Ikechukwu Eze, “Dame (Dr.) Patience Jonathan, was given the award because of her commitment to peace and worthy contributions towards advancing the cause of women and youth in Africa”.

Mr. Eze further to said that her warmth and peaceful disposition have earned her the “Mama Peace,” in Nigeria and all over Africa.
