Wizkid wins Best African Artiste of the Year in Ghana

It was a big win for Nigeria yesterday as popular star singer, Wizkid won the award for the Best African Artiste of the year at the Ghana music awards show.

Tagged #VGMA23, the 23rd annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards held on Friday, 6th of May 2022.

The nominees list for the category of the Best African Artiste of the year also featured other Nigerian artistes: Tems, Ckay, Joeboy, Fireboy Dml.

The ‘Essence’ crooner is a multiple award winning artist; one of which, is the grammy he won on his song collaboration with Beyonce in 2021.

The singer and songwriter continues to take Nigeria to other parts of the world with his music.
