Woman Breaks Record, Gives Birth To 10 Babies
A 37-year-old Gauteng woman, identified as Gosiame Thamara Sithole has reportedly given birth to ten babies and has set a new record in the book of Guinness World Record.
According to the husband of the woman, Teboho Tsotetsi, his wife gave birth at a hospital in Pretoria last night.
The Gauteng woman, who is said to reside in Tembisa delivered seven boys and three girls through a cesarean section. She said that her pregnancy was natural and not through any fertility treatment.
Aside from the ten children she welcomed a few hours ago, she already has six years old twins.
The husband of Sithole said, “My wife gave birth to their bundle of joy, 29 weeks into her pregnancy.
“It’s seven boys and three girls. She was seven months and seven days pregnant.
“I am happy, I am emotional, I can’t talk much. Let’s talk again in the morning please,” Tsotetsi said.
It was recorded that a Malian identified as Halima Cisse gave birth to nine children in Morocco in May, last month, which made her the first woman to have given birth to a huge number of children in a go.
