The Nigeria Union Teachers Ebonyi State Chapter has expressed happiness over the approval given by Governor David Umahi to release the outstanding promotion and Pension benefits since 2019 till date.
The Chairman of the Union Mr Francis Elechi disclosed this while addressing Journalists in Abakaliki the State Capital.
“The Governor has set up a committee to ensure implementation and we are grateful about that”. He said.
“When the approval is implemented, it will increase the output of the workers in the State. The promotion and other approval given by the state Government are for both public and Civil Servants in the State”. He added.
Manpower Development
Mr Elechi disclosed that “Government employed more teachers to fill the vacancies thereby increasing the manpower Development in the State.
