World egg day 2021: PANOG to enlighten public on importance of daily egg consumption

Poultry Association of Nigeria Ogun State Chapter, (PANOG) will today join the rest of the world to commemorate this year’s World Egg day with a public enlightenment program.

World Egg Day is celebrated on the second Friday in October yearly since it was founded by the International Egg Commission (IEC) at a conference held in Vienna in 1996.

As part of its activities marking the 2021 edition, Poultry Association of Nigeria,Ogun State Chapter( PANOG) is holding a public awareness program with the theme ” Eat Your egg today and Everyday” to enlightening the consumers on the importance of egg in human nutrition.

Addressing the media, the State Chairman of the Association, Engr. Idowu Asenuga, said the idea behind the programm is to raising more awareness to the public in the state, of the important place eggs have in human nutrition.

“ we understand the importance of daily egg consumption to human nutrition and we at PANOG encourage it with this programme to enlighten public more about it on this occasion of World Egg Day 2021″ . he said

The event is slated for 10:am inside the Lape Hall, Mokland Hotel & Suites, Ilo Awela of Toll-gate, Sango Ota Area of Ogun state.
