The National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC North West, Malam Salihu Lukman, has met with Patty stakeholders in Sokoto State.
The meeting is aimed at addressing members grievances in the State.
Mr Lukman accompanied by other APC Executives from the zone, urged the stakeholders to initiate reconciliation committee and meet with all members who have any grievance.
He said the National headquarter of the Party was highly proud of the APC chapter in Sokoto for their commitment toward becoming more stronger on daily basis.
“We at the national headquarter are fully aware of your commitment that makes the party more attractive and acceptable to the good people of Sokoto State.
“As we all know Sokoto State remain one of the strongest APC state in the country with the full support of our leader Sen. Aliyu Wamakko.
“Wamakko remain one of the greatest pillar in the struggle toward the success of our party and should continuously be respected for his dedication,” he said.
The zonal Vice Chairman added that APC was aware of the state chapter’s resolve to ensure unity among the party members and living no holes for informants to penetrate.
“Those that resolved to join the opposition parties are doing so best on their selfish interest and not on the interest of supporting the living standard of the society.
“Our genuine members of APC are with us and we have no doubt about their loyalty, as such we will continue to work together toward our success in the 2023 general elections,” he added.
In his remarks, the Sojoto Stare APC Chairman, Senator Aliyu Wamakko, thanked the Party leadership for their commitment in addressing the challenges in the Party.
“As you are aware in Sokoto state we have three Senatorial seats and six out of the 11 members of the House of Representatives are all in APC.
“We are stronger and becoming more stronger on daily bases, as many bigwigs from the opposition are joining us base on their understanding of our Progressive desire,” Senator Wamakko said.
Also Speaking, the APC Zonal Secretary North West, Mr Bello Goronyo, appreciated Senator Wamakko for his fatherly role to members of the party in the state.
Goronyo however urged party members to continue to rally support for APC to ensure victory come 2023 at all levels.
