2023 Budget: Reps To Begin Debate on General Principle of Appropriation Act

The House of Representatives is set to commence debate on the general principles of the 2023 Appropriation Act.

The Deputy Speaker of the House, Hon. Idris Wase, who disclosed this at plenary, said that the debate will begin Wednesday.

According to him, the process was to start Tuesday at plenary but the documents were not ready for lawmakers until Wednesday.

Wase however mandated the Chairman Committee on Rules and Business to ensure that President Buhari’s speech on the budget be made available to all members for smooth deliberation.
