The Resident Electoral Commissioner REC, Mrs Onyeka Ugochi alongside with all Security Chiefs have arrived Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State Capital, South-East Nigeria, where Collation is still going on to quicken the process of returning their results.
This Occurred due to delay in Collation and returning of Election results to Independent National Electoral Commission INEC Headquarters in Abakaliki the State Capital.
The REC said that up till 11am on Sunday, no result from any of the 2946 polling units from the 13 Local Government Area of the State has reached INEC Headquarters.
The REC as well as all the Security Chiefs have proceeded to other Local Government Areas for the same action.
It would be recalled that 4 polling units which were initially created by INEC were cancelled due to non availability of voting strength.
