Mark your calendars for December 13 to December 20, 2023, as EWL takes center stage, fostering collaboration and innovation in this thriving cultural landscape.
The Co-Founder, CEO of Livespot360 and producers of EWL, Deola Art Alade, disclosed this in a statement in Lagos on Saturday.
According to Alade, the programme is aimed at uniting both industry professionals and passionate entertainment fans this December.
“Entertainment Week Lagos (EWL) is set to bring together a diverse and vibrant community of 15,000 entertainment enthusiasts for its second edition.
With the theme, “The Next Wave”, this extraordinary eight-day experience will be held at the expansive Livespot Entertarium from Dec. 13 to Dec. 20, 2023.
“It promises an unparalleled opportunity for collaboration, networking, innovation, and knowledge exchange in the dynamic world of entertainment.”
“We are excited to be able to yet again host the best in the global entertainment industry in Lagos, the entertainment capital of Africa, for the second edition of EWL.”
“While the first edition was a success, we are looking to take things a notch higher with several exciting elements.”
“Starting with a launch party, panel sessions, keynotes, think tanks, pitch sessions, workshops, masterclasses, movie screenings, brand exhibition area, art installations, networking and a marketplace for local brands,” she said.
Alade noted that the EWL, an initiative of Livespot Foundation, produced by Livespot360, made its mark with a successful debut in 2022, delivering eight days of immersive entertainment experiences across multiple locations.
She said the inaugural event featured 35 renowned speakers and educators, 16 NFT artistes, eight short films and documentaries, and 30 chart-topping musicians reaching an astonishing 31.2 million people.
“With an overarching goal to reach over 100 million people and train more than 1,000 individuals, EWL aims to unite both industry professionals and passionate entertainment fans this December,” she said.
