2023: Labour Party to flag off Presidential Campaign In Lafia

The Presidential Campaign Council of the Labour Party, (LP), says it will flag-off it first campaigns in Lafia the Nasarawa state capital, North central Nigeria, on the 29th of October, 2022.

The Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council said the earlier scheduled flag-off of the campaign for 20th of October was shifted to 29th of October “due to the rampaging flood that affected 33 out of the 36 states of the federation.”

Spokesman of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, Dr. Yunusa Tako stated that the “Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi had to pay a visit to empathise with people in affected states and communities across the country.”

Dr. Tanko added that after the visitation “the campaign council has deemed it necessary to earnestly start the campaign from the north central, geo-political zone of Nigeria.”T

The Spokesman man further called on the party’s support groups and teeming supporters to make themselves available for a worthwhile campaign for the 2023 general election.
