A member representing the Kagarko constituency at the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Honourable Nuhu Goroh Shadalafia, has debunked the rumour, making rounds that he has stepped down his ambition to return for a position in the state assembly.

He disclosed this in a statement he signed and issued to journalists in Kaduna.

He described the rumour as evil and malicious, urging the public and party members to disregard the information.

Shadalafia advised the public to be guided and not to take seriously any information or message that was not from his official social media platforms.

It read, “my attention has been drawn to malicious information making the rounds within my constituency that I, Nuhu Goroh Shadalafiya, an aspirant for the State Assembly in Kaduna State have stepped down for another aspirant in the race to Lugard hall.”

He alleged that it was a calculated attempt by oppositions within and outside his party, the APC, to mislead the public for their political gains.

“Those carrying around these lies are those with evil intentions for the State’s development and democracy in the constituency.

“I refute the lies and I have not and will not give in to cheap blackmail. I am in the race and hence, call on all my supporters to keep working till we make our enemies bow,” the former deputy speaker emphasised.
