The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC, Mr. Bola Tinubu, has again reassured Nigerians that his mission to lead the country has nothing to do with religion.
Mr. Tinubu stated this at a meeting with the Pentecostal Bishops Forum of Northern Nigeria.
The APC Presidential Candidate explained that his choice of selecting Kashim Shettima as his running mate was because of his confidence in Shettima to serve.

“How will Nigeria develop? How do we banish hunger? How do we improve the insecurity and eliminate killing one another and shedding the blood of innocent citizens? That is what we must take to the office and not our religion.
“My intention is clear. Not in religiosity. My intention is to develop this country, to bring prosperity to our country and I have better qualifications, better track records, better exposure, better vision than any of my mates,” Tinubu said.
The APC’s Tinubu/Shettima presidential ticket, which many have called the Muslim-Muslim ticket, has led to a lot of controversy in Nigeria.
