Traditional rulers in satellite towns of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have declared their support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The monarchs, the Gomo of Kuje, Alhaji Haruna Jibrin; the Esu Sa’Rubochi, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Pada; and the Etsu of Kwali, Luka Ayedo Nizassan III made their positions known while hosting the FCT Renewed Hope Ambassadors, led by their Coordinator, Hon. Adamu Abdullahi, in their respective palaces on Thursday.

They noted that residents of satellite towns in the FCT had begun to feel the tangible impact of the Federal Government in the last two years, describing the developments as unprecedented.

Speaking at Rubochi in Kuje Area Council, the Esu Sa’Rubochi commended the appointment of Hon. Abdullahi as Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, stating that the presence of government was evident in the community.

“Even the blind can feel the presence of government in Rubochi,” he said.

He assured President Tinubu and the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, of his full support, pledging to deploy his influence to ensure that the All Progressives Congress (APC) records overwhelming victories in forthcoming elections.

Similarly, the Gomo of Kuje, Alhaji Haruna Jibrin, praised the transformation of the road network in Kuje, noting that improved connectivity had attracted businesses and new residents to the area.

“The attention Kuje has received under President Tinubu and the FCT Minister has repositioned the town as a viable economic hub,” he said, adding that only ungrateful residents would deny the impact of good governance.

He assured that his domain would fully mobilise for a successful Area Council election and the re-election of President Tinubu, while praying for unity and success for members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors.

At the palace of the Etsu of Kwali, the monarch’s spokesperson and former Area Council Chairman, Hon. Illiya Nizazo, expressed appreciation for the appointment of the Coordinator, the recognition given to their son as Minister, and the infrastructural projects that have boosted commercial activities in Kwali.

He assured the President that Kwali remained firmly aligned with the APC and urged the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to take their message to every clan across the FCT.

Responding on behalf of the group, Hon. Abdullahi highlighted the various infrastructural and developmental projects executed in the FCT under President Tinubu’s administration, describing Minister Nyesom Wike as an energetic and results-driven leader popularly known as “Mr Project.”
