Nigeria failed to end Algeria’s winning streak against them as they lost yet again. The Super Eagles lost 2-1 against the Desert Warriors at the Oran Olympic Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Nigeria took the lead through Terem Moffi, but the host pegged back through Manchester City forward Riyad Mahrez. Youcef Atal scored a wonderous strike in the second half of the game to give the host the deserved win over the Super Eagles.

Here are the three worst players in the game.

Terem Moffi’s goal was just a consolation against Algeria:

1 Francis Uzoho

The Nigerian goalkeeper was unable to provide a convincing performance after Maduka Okoye fumbled in the test game. The former Deportivo goalkeeper should have done better for Algeria’s second goal of the game. It’s worst time of my life – Super Eagles goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho

2 Frank Onyeka

The Brentford midfielder couldn’t replace the injured Wilfred Ndidi as he was outclassed in the midfield. He conceded the penalty which was converted by Mahrez to level the game for the Desert Warriors. Middlesbrough interested in struggling Super Eagles star | Pulse Nigeria

3 Zaidu Sanusi

The FC Porto defender was unable to hold the left-back position well enough. He was out-muscled by Algeria forwards and could have done better in helping the attack too.
