Israel urges citizens to reconsider Russia travel
Israel has issued a warning to its citizens, urging them to reconsider their stay in Russia or any travel plans to the country.
According to a statement released by the defence ministry on Saturday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was scheduled to convene security chiefs to discuss the situation.
There are an estimated 60 or 70,000 Israelis presently in Russia and around 500,000 Jews who are eligible for immigration to Israel.
