We Will Operate Open-door Policy -Minister of Water Resources
The Nigerian Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Mr Joseph Terlumun Utsev and Minister of State, Mr. Bello Goronyo, said their era would usher in a new dimension of leadership.
While speaking separately at a reception held for the newly appointed Ministers at the ministry headquarters, in Abuja, Utsev vowed his commitment to ethical values, a conducive work environment as well as an open-door policy to encourage teamwork among others.
According to Mr Utsev, staff training, promotions, and provision of necessary tools and equipment to promote service delivery would be prioritized.
All staff, he urged, should reciprocate the efforts with renewed dedication to their official duties and responsibilities
In the same vein, he appreciated the Federal Government for its support to the Ministry over the years and also recognized the efforts of the immediate past Minister of Water Resources, Engr. Suleiman H. Adamu, acknowledging the good work of the former ministers and technocrats who have served the ministry.
However, in his own remarks, the Minister of State, Bello Muhammed Goronyo, expressed gratitude to the Ministry’s Management and staff.
He assured everyone of his readiness to use his experience and expertise to drive the execution of policies and programs for the rapid development of water and sanitation in Nigeria.
Earlier, in a welcome address, the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Didi Walson- Jack, also shared her enthusiasm on behalf of the entire Ministry staff regarding the new appointments.
