The President of the Christ Embassy Ministry, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has urged the Christian faithful in Nigeria to be agents of good causes and remain committed ambassadors in their communities.
Oyakhilome, who stated this during a World Press Conference in Lagos, emphasised that when citizens have patriotic hearts, it will go a long way to engender a country filled with hope and optimism.
The media conference, according to him, was designed to celebrate ReachOut World Day in the next 30 days with physical events happening simultaneously in every nation, territory, city, and community around the world and to let the people of Nigeria and the rest of the world have the feeling that hope lies ahead.
Oyakhilome, who was represented at the conference by the leader of the Reachout Global Committee of the campaign, Mr. Tom Amenkhienan, acknowledged the fact that the nation is currently facing challenges but stressed that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
“With the historical event of reaching out to the world simultaneously with the gospel through the prayer book, Rhapsody of Realities, God will begin to change those global anxieties to peace,” he said.

He described the gospel as a light to the world, saying, “With the myriad of challenges in the world, the spread of the gospel can foster peace and halt challenges.”
He further explained the organisation has in the past years printed its daily Bible devotional, Rhapsody of Realities, into about 8,123 languages and close to 4,000 dialects, the move, which, according to him, is to ensure that more people gain access to the gospel of the Lord.
According to him, “Today, marks a momentous time in the history of the world and of the Church; a day specially set aside to saturate the earth with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea, just as the Bible says.”
He announced a 30-day outreach initiative to distribute billions of copies of the daily devotional, Rhapsody of Realities, in various languages and formats to people of all ages and in multiple locations globally.
In his remarks, a member of the committee, Pastor Lanre Alade, said the devotional had been printed in braille and sign language to reach the visually and hearing impaired.
