Match day 7 of the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) Premiership, produced defining moments across the country, with Remo Stars Ladies halting FC Robo Queens’ perfect run.

In Ikenne, Remo Stars Ladies delivered one of the results of the round in the headline Southwest derby of the Week, edging previously unbeaten FC Robo Queens 1–0 to bring an end to the Lagos side’s six-game winning streak.

Cynthia Mega’s 73rd-minute strike proved decisive in a tightly contested encounter, as the Sky Blue Ladies showcased tactical discipline and resilience to claim all three points and announce themselves as genuine contenders.

In Asaba, Abia Angels pulled off a significant upset, defeating Delta Queens 1–0 on the road just hours after parting ways with their head coach, the first managerial casualty of the 2025/26 campaign.

Blessing Okon’s 55th-minute finish sealed a vital victory for the Umuahia-based side, offering an immediate response to internal upheaval and injecting renewed belief into their season.

Elsewhere, Rivers Angels delivered the most emphatic performance of Matchday Seven, running riot in Port Harcourt with a crushing 5–0 victory over Heartland Queens.

Ramotalahi Kareem was the standout performer, firing a superb hat-trick in the 14th, 33rd, and 58th minutes, while Abasiofon Uwah added a brace to complete the rout.

Defending champions Bayelsa Queens also made a powerful statement on the road, dismantling stubborn Adamawa Queens 4–1 in Makwada.

Blessing Ilivieda opened the scoring early before Janet Akekoromowei and a brace from Kindness Ifeanyi ensured a comprehensive away win, further strengthening Bayelsa’s title credentials.

In Uyo, Ibom Angels secured a hard-earned 2–1 victory over Ekiti Queens, with Wami Georgeline’s late strike proving decisive after both sides had traded first-half goals.

The North Central derby in Iyahmo ended all square as Nasarawa Amazons snatched a late equaliser to draw 1–1 with Confluence Queens, while the South-West derby between Osun Babes and Sunshine Queens finished goalless in Ile-Ogbo.

Meanwhile in Lagos, Dannaz Ladies showed resilience to come from behind and defeat Ahudiyannem Queens 2–1, sealing the win with a late strike to cap another dramatic Match day Seven.
