Abuja Chamber of Commerce Calls for Business-Friendly Policies

The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has urged the new administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to make friendly policies that would help the business community in Nigeria to operate without any hindrance.

The President of ACCI, Dr Al-Mujtaba Abubakar while reacting to the Nigerian President’s Democracy Day Speech,  urged the new administration to fulfill every component of its electoral pact with the people for a ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda as promised.

Dr Drubakar stated that the business community was looking forward to policies that would help them contribute greatly to building a stronger economy, adding that if favourable policies are put in place, the private sector would be able to operate without any hindrance thereby, contributing to the economic growth of the country.

 

He also called for investment in transportation, infrastructure, education, regular power supply, healthcare and other public utilities that will improve the quality of lives of the Nigerian people.

“These and many more are what the business community need to have smooth running of their businesses and we pray that this administration would be magnanimous enough to supply them,” he said.

“On behalf of the Executive Council and members of ACCI, I congratulate the people of Nigeria, President Tinubu and his team while also praying for a successful tenure,” he added.
