Abuja Residents Receive Free Medical Services

Over 300 residents in Abuja communities have benefited from a free medical outreach programme organised by a Non-Governmental Organisation, (NGO), situated in Toge village, Abuja, Nigeria called ‘Rural Mission Outreach’.

A member of the Rural Mission Outreach, Mr. Kenneth Agumadu who spoke on behalf of the organisation said that the event provided critical services to the most vulnerable members of the society, including medical treatments, food, clothing, and other essential materials.

He said, “We are proud to report that over 300 people attended the event, where we were able to treat 150 individuals for a variety of medical conditions. We also referred three emergency cases to the hospital for further care.

“The event was staffed by eight doctors, one nurse, and two pharmacists, who worked tirelessly to provide the best possible care to those in need,  He explained.

According to Mr. Agumadu “in addition to medical services, over 100 people received foodstuffs, provisions, and toiletries, while others received gifts such as clothes, shoes, wrappers, slippers, sandals, and cash donations”.

He appreciated the donors for their contribution towards the success of the Mission.

“We are grateful to all the donors who contributed to making this event a success and to the volunteers who worked tirelessly to distribute these items to those who needed them most” He said.

Agumadu gave the assurance that the Rural Mission Outreach is committed to improving the lives of the poorest of the poor, widows, elderly, aged, indigents, and vulnerable members the society.

“We believe that everyone deserves access to basic necessities such as clean water, food, and medical care, and we will continue to work towards this goal in all our future outreach programs” He said .
