The Adamawa State Civil Service Commission (CSC) has released the official schedule for its Computer-Based Test (CBT) examination, set to begin on 31 July 2025 across 13 JAMB-approved centres in the state.

The examination marks a key phase in the state’s ongoing recruitment drive aimed at revitalising the civil service and offering thousands of qualified applicants the opportunity for stable public employment.

Permanent Secretary of the Commission, Abubakar Maiha, disclosed that successful candidates will begin receiving SMS and email notifications from 25 July. These notifications will contain a personalised link to download examination slips detailing the candidate’s exam date, centre location, time, and identification requirements.

To preserve the integrity of the recruitment process, the CSC has mandated that candidates arrive at their designated centres at least one hour before their scheduled time for biometric verification. Entry will only be granted to candidates who present both their examination slip and National Identification Number (NIN) slip.

Applicants who do not receive digital notifications were advised not to panic. The Commission has made provisions for manual retrieval via its official portal at https://csc.ad.gov.ng/slip, where candidates can input their email address or NIN to access and print their exam details.

Reaffirming its commitment to transparency and merit-based recruitment, the CSC assured that the process will remain free, fair, and devoid of favouritism, with oversight mechanisms in place to monitor all phases of the exercise.

Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Humwashi Wonosikou, noted that the CBT will be conducted in phases based on candidates’ Local Government Areas (LGAs), to prevent overcrowding and ensure a smooth and orderly process across all centres.

For many young graduates and job seekers in Adamawa, the CBT represents a critical opportunity to access long-awaited employment and contribute to public service.
