Again, Victor Boniface voted Bundesliga rookie of the month
Nigerian striker Victor Boniface has been voted the Bundesliga’s rookie player for the month of September.
This is the second consecutive award for the 22-year old who plays for Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.
Boniface scored two braces and one assist in September.

Forty percent (40%) of the vote came from fans with 30 % each from the 18 Bundesliga team captains and a panel of pundits.
Boniface joined Bayer 04 from Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise in the summer.

Xavi Simons (RB Leipzig) and Maximilian Beier (TSG Hoffenheim) were also nominated for Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award.
His exploits have helped Leverkusen to top the German top flight with 19 points,
