Agency Lauds Sokoto State Governor on Cash Allocation to General Hospitals

The Executive Director, Sokoto State Hospital Service Management Board, Dr Bello Abubakar Attahiru, has commended Governor Ahmed Aliyu for reintroducing cash allocation to various general hospital across 23 local government areas of the state.

Dr Attahiru made the commendation while speaking to Journalists in his office in Sokoto State.
He said the allocation to the hospitals was part of the campaign promises made by the Governor to improve conducive working atmosphere for health workers.
” Previous administration neglected the allowances for the hospitals over the years and now Governor Aliyu promised to reintroduce it during his electioneering campaign. The pledge is now fulfilled and the service delivery has been improved particularly the hygiene of various hospitals,” he said.
He called on the workers to reciprocate the gesture by ensuring they remain committed to their duty and build more passion to the profession for effective service delivery to the people of the state.
Dr Attahiru further reiterated Governor Aliyu’s readiness to rehabilitate and improve the standard of all general hospital across the 23 local government areas of the state.
The Executive Director noted that the present administration would continue to prioritize welfare of all health workers for sustainable health benefits of the state.
