Agric Empowerment: Governor Nwifuru Disburses N300m To Trained Beneficiaries

The Governor of Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria Mr Francis Nwifuru has flagged off the disbursement of three million naira (N3,000,000) each to the one hundred trained beneficiaries of the Agric Empowerment program.
This was to enable those who have been receiving training from Master Skil in Agbani Farm in Enugu State Southeast Nigeria, to establish their various farms either as individuals or in groups.
The Governor of the State, represented by his Deputy, Mrs Patricia Obila disclosed this during the flag off ceremony at Executive Council Chambers, Old Government House Abakaliki the State Capital.
The Deputy Governor warned the beneficiaries who have been trained in various branches in Agriculture to use this opportunity and excel in life.
“You are very lucky to have been selected, trained and have been empowered financially today. We are doing these sacrifices in the State just to make sure that all Ebonyi people are comfortable”
“You have been trained to train others. Don’t take this opportunity for granted”
She urged them to be serious in their different farms as monitoring team will be visiting them on regular basis.
HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT
Earlier, the State Commissioner for Human Capital Development, Mrs Ann Aligwe in her goodwill message, thanked the beneficiaries for making Ebonyi State proud during their training at Agbani in Enugu State.
She urged them to remain focused.
In appreciation, the Coordinator of the beneficiaries, Mr Adagba Fabian thanked Ebonyi State Government for investing on them .
Adagba promised on behalf of others never to let the State Government down.
