The George Moghalu Campaign Organisation of the Labour Party (LP) in a notable political development leading up to the November 2025 Anambra Governorship Election, has officially inaugurated its State Campaign Council.
The announcement was made by the Director General of the campaign, Arc. Okey Chukwuogo, who described the council as a strategic coalition of credible and experienced individuals drawn from diverse sectors. According to him, the council is designed to lead an issue-based, people-centered campaign with a focus on integrity, inclusivity, and grassroots engagement.
“This is a collective responsibility to champion good governance, credibility, and grassroots impact. All directors, deputies, and secretaries are to resume work immediately,” Chukwuogo declared during the official unveiling.
The council comprises seasoned politicians, legal luminaries, technocrats, youth and women mobilizers, media professionals, and community influencers. It also includes a special team of senior and special assistants to the candidate, Chief George Moghalu, and his running mate, Mrs. Ifeoma Okaro.
