A Coalition of Youth Organizations in Anambra State has endorsed the Zenith Labor Party Candidate, Chief Obiora Okonkwo, for the November 6 poll.

A spokesman for the Coalition, Comrade Uchechukwu Paul, said they considered the party’s candidate capable and worthy of piloting the affairs of the State.

During a town hall meeting with the party’s candidate in Awka, the Youth Leader explained that Chief Okonkwo possessed the needed managerial capacity and qualities to take the State to the next level.

While highlighting his contributions towards the development of the State, he noted that the people would tap into his wealth of knowledge and ideas for total transformation.

Responding, the Zenith Labor Party candidate, represented by the State Chairman of the Party, Chief Uche Ugorji, expressed confidence that his party would win the November 6, 2021, gubernatorial election.

While appreciating the youths for the courageous move, he promised that ZLP and its candidate would partner with the youths in running the government inclusively if elected into power.

He tasked them to sustain mobilization and sensitization of the electorate in their various communities on the need to come out and vote for the ZLP candidate.

Ugorji, the State chairperson of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), informed the Youths that Okonkwo’s policy framework is more of job creation and youth empowerment programmes, which he said will reduce the crime rate and increase productivity, economic growth and development of the State.

He urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the security agencies to ensure the election is free, fair and peaceful.
