Anambra Speaker Lauds Police Commissioner’s Security Ingenuity As He Retires

The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Mr Somtochukwu Udeze has described the outgoing Anambra Commissioner of Police, Aderemi Adeoye as an outstanding police officer who made impressive marks in the course of his duties.

While felicitating with Aderemi on behalf of the State Legislature on his retirement after 35 years of service, Udeze, in a statement released and signed by Emma Madu, his Press Secretary, noted that CP Aderemi distinguished himself by rendering fearless and selfless service to the state.

The Speaker who extolled Aderemi’s doggedness in fighting crime and criminality in the state, commended him for his promptness in tackling security challenges.

He noted that the outgoing Commissioner of Police, Aderemi maintained a cordial working relationship with Governor Chukwuma Soludo by complementing the Governor’s security efforts, which he said, resulted in the adequate security of lives and property of Anambra people.

While wishing CP Aderemi well in his retirement, Udeze expressed gratitude with the manner he ensured maximum security of various government institutions as well as his contributions to Governor Soludo’s vision for a livable, smart and secure Anambra State.

Aderemi who served as Commissioner of Police for 10 months in Anambra State will officially retire from service by midnight on April 30, 2024.
