Anambra State: Labour Party Receives Decampees from APGA

Some members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Awka Ward II, have defected to the Labour Party (LP), being ably received by the member representing Awka South 1 State Constituency, Hon. Henry Mbachu.

The event which took place in Ezinato Village Hall, Ifite Awka, had Hon. Henry Mbachu and his entourage in attendance.
The Chairman of Labour Party, Awka Ward II, Chief Christopher Chukunenye Attah, thanked the legislator for his efforts in integrating more members into the party.
“Our party members will ensure that everyone will be accommodated,” he assured.

While inaugurating the decampees as members of the party, Hon. Mbachu expressed gladness over their desire to join the “OBIDIENT MOVEMENT”.
“I resigned as a lecturer from the Anambra State Polytechnic, because of the zeal I have for the betterment of this constituency. 
“The collective efforts of everyone in Awka and Okpuno, irrespective of party affiliations, will give rise to development within the constituency,” he reiterated.
Some of those that decamped are Echezona Nwibe, a former aspirant for the House of Assembly on the platform of APGA; Mrs Eleti, an APGA woman leader for Ward II; and a host of many others.
