Anambra’s First Lady Commends Team Vianney’s Innovative VR Creation

The first lady of Anambra State, Mrs. Nonye Soludo, has commended Team Vianney of St. John Vianney Science College, Igbariam, Anambra East Local Government Area, Nigeria, for creating innovative Virtual Reality (VR) Technology, and clinching the prestigious title of inaugural winners at the National Girls in ICT Competition, organized by the Federal Ministry of Communication, Innovation, and Digital Economy.

In Awka, the state capital, the first lady spoke about their victory, saying, “Huge congratulations to St. John Vianney Science College, Igbariam, Anambra East Local Government Area, for emerging as the winner of the National Girls in ICT Competition. They created an innovative virtual reality technology (M-Tag VR), allowing users to explore monumental landmarks and learn about the cultural distinctiveness of Nigerian tribes.

“This is another solid milestone and big win for Anambra State in our determined vision to make our education sector the best in the country. These brilliant Anambra girls have once again proven that the future of our dear state is in very safe hands.
