APC Anambra Guber Aspirant Umeoji Withdraws From Primary

A gubernatorial aspirant in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election in Anambra State, Chukwuma Umeoji has withdrawn from the race.

Mr. Umeoji cited consultations with his supporters across the South -eastern State as the reason for his decision.

APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka in a statement expressed gratitude to Mr. Umeoji for his aspiration and dedicated support, both in Anambra State and nationally.

“It is our hope that Rt. Hon. Umeoji will do all in his power to support and work for the victory of the eventual gubernatorial flag bearer of our great Party in the November 8, 2025 Anambra state gubernatorial election.” Mr. Morka added.

Mr. Umeoji’s decision comes after he had officially declared his intention to run for the Anambra State Governorship under the APC, promising a new era for the State.

The APC Governorship primary election in Anambra State is scheduled to hold on Sunday, April 5th.
