A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State, Dr. Jamil Gwamna, has commended President Bola Tinubu on the appointment of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, as Renewed Hope Ambassador and Secretary for Party Outreach, Engagement and Mobilisation.
Mr. Jamilu Gwamna described the appointment as well deserved and thought out plan that would benefit APC from the top to the bottom
He made the statements while interacting with journalists on the development.
“Governor Inuwa Yahaya has distinguished himself in governance which has made him a key figure within the progressives family.
“Governor Inuwa’s cordial relationship with APC members in his state and the Northeast region and the country at large earned him the appointment of the Renewed Hope Ambassador.
”Yahaya’s good governance and infrastructural development mind-set has made him a highly-recommendable leader and a mobiliser, who has been able to win the hearts of many opposition leaders into the APC in Gombe State, as evident in the recent defections of two House of Representatives Members from the state into the APC family,” Gwamna added.
Recall that the appointment, which took place with immediate effect, was conveyed in a letter and personally signed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
It stated in the appointment letter that the governor is expected to galvanise support and ensure the effective communication of the party’s programs, policies, achievements, and milestones, with the aim of strengthening public confidence in the APC and reinforcing the Renewed Hope message nationwide.
