Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, says, the National Headquarters of the All-Progressives Congress (APC) has accepted the emergence of Abdullahi Abbas as the only State Chairman of the party.
He made the statement prior to the commencement of the State Executive Council meeting in Kano.
“Party headquarters has recognized our election of Abdullahi Abbas as the State Chairman of our party.
“The party headquarters also recognizes all leaders elected during the state congress when Abdullahi Abbas emerged victorious,” Governor Ganduje said.
He however said there are moves to reconcile agrieved APC members in the state.
“However, there are moves to reconcile with all few others who followed another way. Politics is all about this kind of development, anyway,” Ganduje added.

He also commended Commissioners and other members of the council for their support during the Congress.
Meanwhile, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau has reaffirmed his support to the factional chairman of the APC, Haruna Danzago elected in a parallel Congress held last Saturday.
He said the list of the other officials elected with him In the parallel Congress has been submitted to the National Headquarters of the party.
