A spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, says his party desires to hold issue-based campaigns relating to Nigeria.
Fani-Kayode, the Director of Special Media Projects and New Media for the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, said this in a press statement.
The statement was a reaction to identified allegations by the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, that his principal, the APC Presidential Candidate, Mr. Bola Tinubu, is not physically fit to be President.
Fani-Kayode, while clarifying that Mr. Tinubu “is as fit as a fiddle,” urged the opposition to focus on issues that affect Nigeria rather than falsehood and lies.
“We want a campaign that centers on issues. For us, the issue is our beloved country Nigeria and the only person in the race that we can trust with the destiny of 200 million Nigerians is Bola Tinubu,” Fani-Kayode affirmed.
He added that Mr. Tinubu has the best qualities to lead Nigeria, such as loyalty and mental and physical capacity.
