Six Governors of the All Progressives Congress, APC and some members of the party’s Presidential Campaign Council are currently in a meeting with the APC National Working Committee.
The meeting is holding at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, Nigeria’s Capital.
The APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu who spoke at the opening of meeting said the purpose of the meeting is to plan for the success of the party in the 2023 elections in Nigeria.
Senator Adamu noted that they could be no success in the elections without the contributions of the governors who are the leaders of the party in their states.
Present at the meeting are Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, Jigawa Governor Abubakar Badaru, Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, Nasarawa Governor, Abdullahi Sule, Niger state governor, Abubakar Sani Bello, Zamfara Governor, Bello Matawalle, Ondo Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu and the deputy governor of Borno state, Umar Kadafur.
Also present are the former Governor of Edo state, Adams Oshiomhole and Former Managing Director of Nigeria Ports Authority, Hadiza Bala Usman who are both Deputy Director Generals of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
