A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress(APC) in Anambra State, Hon Azuka Okwuosa,has described move by the party to revalidate its membership across the nation as a cardinal means to strengthen her stronghold.
Speaking with newsmen in Awka, Hon Okwuosa, a former Commissioner for Works in the state,reasoned that the exercise would provide opportunity for people to register right from the ward.
“The revalidation of membership is a welcome development which is intended to bring more people into our fold.We encourage people to take advantage of the exercise to make an informed political decision for development of the nation”
He said the registration should be viewed with utmost importance to allow for political participation by intending members to drive the party to the next level.
Hon Okwuosa, who is aspiring to govern the state, specifically urged the people of the south east geopolitical zone to key into the process so as to capture the zone for the party to brighten chances of the zone being considered for presidency slot in 2023.
