The National Working Committee of Nigeria’s governing party, the All Progressives Congress, APC has posted a notice for its National Caucus meeting and National Executive Committee, NEC meeting.
In the notice which was posted by the APC Acting National Secretary, Felix Fuanter and released to Journalists, the National Caucus meeting will hold on 2nd August at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa.
While the NEC meeting will hold on 3rd August in the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
Nigeria’s President and Vice President, leaders of the National Assembly who are APC members as well as other party leaders in the zones are expected to attend both meetings.
Former President, Muhammadu Buhari and former Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo are to attend the Caucus meeting.
Recall that recently, the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, National Secretary, Iyiola Omisore and the National Vice Chairman North-West, Salihu Lukman resigned their positions.
Presently the Deputy National Chairman North, Abubakar Kyari and the Deputy National Secretary Felix Fuanter are both acting as National Chairman and National Secretary respectively.
It is expected that the matter of filling the vacant spots of the National Chairman and National Secretary will be discussed at both meetings.
In addition, the issue of the party finances as well as general party management will be discussed at the party.
