The influx and return of many Nigerians to the All Progressives Congress is an indication that the party has what to it takes to retain its hold on power even after the 2023 general election.
The Chairman of Yaba local Council Development Area, Honorable Kayode Omiyale said this in an interview with Voice of Nigeria.
Honorable Omiyale said that the performance of President Muhammadu Buhari and governors on the platform of the party spurred the mass exodus of people from other political parties to the APC.
“All the governors on the platform of the APC are performing in their respective States and that is why they are winning elections and that is why many people coming into the party because they know that the party has laid a solid foundation for the country to develop”.
“So far so good we have had two parties in government and Nigerians can make a comparison. Before this government leaves office in 2023 we are going to see a new Nigeria”.
He said that the APC remains the Party of choice for most Nigerians in the build up to the 2023 polls.
