The International Association of World Peace Advocates IAWPA has hailed officers and men of the Nigeria Air force for the major successes which have helped in the elimination of terrorists in their hideouts.
The association made this known in a statement signed by its international spokesman Mr. Emmanuel Nkweke in Abuja.
IAWPA which enjoys a Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council ECOSOSC since 2019 commended President Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigerian security agencies for not paying lip service in its fight against terrorism.
“We have reported cases of air attacks on terrorist hideouts which have made the efforts of the Nigerian ground forces easy.”
The statement commended the air bombardments at Kurebe, Shiroro, Niger State as well as the most recent attacks against terrorist hideouts in Zamfara where Nigeria Air Force jets bombed the hideout of a notorious terrorist and gun runner, Mallam Ila in Manawa village, Shinkafi.
“These are strong testimonies of the good works of our gallant airmen under the present Chief of Air Staff Air Marshall Isiaka Oladayo Amao.”
“We as a foremost player in the pursuit of Global as well as regional peace are proud of their efforts and pray they continue with the good works” the statement added.
The Association urged Nigerians to rally behind the members of the Nigerian military who have been staking their lives in defense of the country.
