Athletics Federation Of Nigeria To Revamp Sports In Kaduna

The Chairman of the Kaduna State Athletics Federation, Sani Shehu Abbas has reiterated the commitment of the association in revamping sports activities across the State.

Sani Abbas stated this during the inauguration of the new officials of the Athletics Federation of the state on Thursday in the state capital.

The Chairman further urged stakeholders in the state on the need to unite and work together in bringing back the state’s past glory in sports activities in the country.

“We will ensure regular tournaments both within and outside the state as well as adequate provision of kits for athletes in the State” Abbas said.

He added that the new team will aoon organize a talent hunt across teaming youths in developing sports activities in the State.

Sani Abbas who charged coaches to add more efforts in discovering talents across the state said inter schools competitions across the state “will be revived in achieving that aim”.

He advised athletes in the state to put more efforts in competing favourably with counterparts in the country and globally.
