Nigerian Artists Bella Shmurda, Sarz, Crayon and other celebrities have taken to social media to show their love and support for Wizkid, as his mother is laid to rest.

Friday, October 13, 2023, has been a day of mixed emotions in the entertainment industry as the mother of one of the biggest artists in Africa, Wizkid was finally laid to rest following the sad news of her death.

Numerous celebrities all took to their social media platform to share their reactions to videos and pictures of the Grammy award-winning artist and his family at the event.
Wizkid who has been vocal about his love and admiration for his mother has been absent from social media since her tragic passing but celebrities and friends of the singer have rallied around to support him and also pay their last respect to his mother.

Bella Shmurda took to his social media platform to reveal just how much the death of a loved one impacts the life of many. His post on social media today, Friday, October 13, 2023, shared words of encouragement to Wiz, it read, “I pray we all have the fortitude to bear the loss of our lost loved ones! Past few days mehn.. Seen the most happiest people sad and the strongest break down!!Rest well Imole.. stay strong Big Wiz.”

Award-winning producer Sarz who is a close associate of the singer also shared a post where he expressed his sadness regarding the passing of Wizkid’s mother and how it has affected the singer. His post on social media read, “Seeing Wiz broken breaks my heart man 💔….God give the family strength to go through this.”

Mavin Records’ Crayon also opened up about how the death of a loved one can affect an individual as a person while expressing his sadness about Wizkid’s emotions and how the passing took a toll on him. Crayon also spoke about people who have been insensitive about the loss, his comment on social media read, “E get some kain things wey I tell those people wey dey drag Big Wiz ! I go too vulgar make I just contain myself! How can y’all be so cruel ! Bruhhh this is real life shit!!! Fuck stanship Fuck everything this is real shit!!! All for what?? Elon musk money!!!
