The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, says he is deeply saddened by the death of some Nigerians in a boat mishap in Ngashi Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
In a Statement signed by the Director Press, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Willie Bassey, the SGF expressed concern that ”the majority of passengers in the boat were mainly women and children, the very bedrock of family unit.”
He commended the locals for their humanitarian efforts to rescue the victims.
The SGF prayed for God to grant the souls of the departed eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
