At the ongoing programme by the Borno state state government, North-Eastern Nigeria, on the distribution of food and none food item among its citizens in the state, the CEO and chairman of Dangote Group of Companies, Aliko Dangote has donated food items to the Borno sate government towards ensuring a smooth process.
The Commissioner of Sport and Youth empowerment in the state, Comrade Saina Buba who spoke to newsmen at the distribution ground in Maiduguri Metropolitan council MMC said: “Rice, Supergetti, Sugar, Maggi cubes and Milk were all donated by Dangote which will cover wards in MMC Fezzan and Hausari and I assure the people of fair distribution among the less-privileged.
“I will like to thank the Chairman and CEO of Dangote and Group for the humanitarian gesture he has be rendering to the state in the past few years, I pray to Almighty to strengthen and guide his path, the strong bond between Dangote and Borno people is not to be overemphasized and I urge other meaningful Nigerians to copy from his humanitarian act especially during festive period such as Ramadan and Eid-El-Fitr.”
