An organization in Nigeria, the Baba 4 all has donated food items to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Maiduguri, Borno state
The items were presented to the Borno State government through the State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA
The national coordinator, Aminu Jaji informed the Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum that the annual distribution has 5169 Metric tonnes of grains set aside for distribution out of which Borno state due to its peculiar situation has a lion share of 1500 Metric tonnes of grains
He urged the beneficiaries to make use of the period to pray for the well-being of President Muhammadu Buhari for peace to reign in the state and the nation.
” I know with your leadership style your Excellency the food will be adequately and fairly distributed we will sleep with our eyes closed.”
Governor Zulum expressed his gratitude to the organization for coming to the aid of the people during this period of the Ramadan fast and promised to ensure that only genuine and most deserving people would benefit from the gesture, he then appealed to the organization to sustain the tempo.
