TP Mazembe tactician Lamia Boumehdi retained the Coach of the Year award at the CAF Awards 2025.

The final three winners in the Women’s category at the CAF Awards 2025 were revealed on Thursday, with Lamia Boumehdi retaining her CAF Women’s Coach of the Year title and Sanaâ Mssoudy named CAF Women’s Interclub Player of the Year.

The awards for Coach of the Year, Interclub Player of the Year and CAF Women’s Club of the Year had been held over from the CAF Awards 2025 ceremony, to allow for the completion of the CAF Women’s Champions League, tagged Egypt 2025.

AS FAR won the Club of the Year award after claiming the CAF Women’s Champions League Egypt 2025 title by defeating ASEC Abidjan in the final last November.

TP Mazembe tactician Boumehdi earned the Coach of the Year award, following up on her success in 2024, meaning there have still only been two winners of the prize, with South Africa’s Desiree Ellis a four-time recipient prior to that.

Sanaâ Mssoudy claimed the Interclub Player of the Year honour after helping AS FAR to their CAF Women’s Champions League Egypt 2025 triumph.
